Start with the evidence
Times must identify the start of each half-hour with a UTC Z or a valid Europe/London offset. Files stay in your browser.

Part-load sensitivity
Both rows use the selected tariff and the same valid half-hours. Hours below minimum means elapsed heating-demand hours, not compressor runtime or number of starts. Capacity and unmet heat are unchanged.
Main results, monthly CSV and tariff comparisons retain the baseline. The full audit and run record include both baseline and cycling scenario values.
Same heating system, compare tariffs
Both 2022 Agile histories are replayed onto the same typical weather. The changing-version case is a hypothetical stress scenario, not one customer contract. Replay preserves UTC month/day/time, not weekday or BST alignment. No separate Energy Price Guarantee adjustment is applied.

Heat load = max(0, 15 − outdoor °C) × design heat load ÷ (15 − design outdoor °C); default design −1.7°C
Air-to-water: weather curve → water temperature; air-to-air: indoor temperature & combination ratio
Samsung COP = interpolated thermal output ÷ interpolated electrical input (with stated A2A defrost assumption)
HP electricity = min(load, capacity) × 0.5 ÷ COP
Cost = (HP electricity + backup electricity) × p/kWh ÷ 100
The download contains all intervals, unrounded calculation values, input assumptions and interpolation brackets. Screen values are rounded for readability.
